Code Champion Announcements
At Medigold Health, we believe in recognising the outstanding contributions of our team members. That’s why we introduced our Code Champion initiative, to celebrate those individuals within our business who regularly demonstrate the qualities promoted by our Genetic Code: the core company values that we strive to live and breathe every day.
Each month, we ask our colleagues across the Group to nominate individuals who have gone above and beyond in their role and shown exceptional skill, dedication or team work. The winning nominee is announced through our company intranet and awarded a prize and we now also want to start featuring them regularly on our blog, so more people can hear about their achievements.
Although slightly delayed (it’s been an exceptionally busy few months here at Medigold!), we are thrilled to introduce you to our recent Code Champions for 2024!
Laura Way is March’s Code Champion!
Laura has been employed as an Occupational Health Nurse since February 2010 and regularly goes the extra mile to help her team, demonstrating our Genetic Code every day.
The person who nominated her said:
“I joined Medigold Health approx. 6 weeks ago (having worked previously in other OH companies for the last 20 years). I have truly learnt more from Laura in the last 6 weeks than I have in the last 20 years with regards to Placements. I wish she had been there 20 years ago. The training, along with her never-ending kindness and patience, and the way she shares her knowledge, has been just 1000% amazing.”
We strive to be the best in the industry, and it is so important to attract and retain good talent. Effective induction and training are essential for making a strong first impression, and Laura seems to have nailed it!
Thank you for all your hard work. Well done, Laura!
Leigh Birch-Garth is April’s Code Champion
Leigh has been a dedicated member of the Medigold Health family for just over a year, serving as a Customer Service Advisor within our Mobile Operations team.
Leigh’s outstanding performance and commitment to his role has not gone unnoticed. He was nominated multiple times by different colleagues over various months, a testament to the consistent excellence he brings to his work. Here are just a few reasons why Leigh was chosen as April’s Code Champion:
“He has been exemplary in helping me out with my clients after I had to take leave due to a bereavement and brilliant at informing me what he has done during my absence, as well as continuing to support me since my return. He has done it all with a very positive attitude. Leigh has gone above and beyond in the team since he joined, he’s always the first to offer support to cover any absence.”
“Leigh helps out with training new staff and his positive and friendly nature helps put people at ease, which in turn gives them confidence in their new working environment. Leigh is always so helpful, offering support to the team if he has the resource, and taking on additional work using his own initiative.”
“Nothing is ever too much to ask of Leigh, and he is always willing to help out when needed. He does an exceptional job supporting colleagues who are away from the business, and can recall where we are at in the booking process for each client when covering the work, giving a detailed brief each morning during our team meeting.”
Thanks, Leigh! Your engagement with our clients and employees is so important to us; you deserve this recognition from your team!
April’s Code Champion Recognition – Carl Nota
We would also like to recognise another nominee from April.
Carl Nota is a Client Service Advisor supporting our Protect clients. Carl has been with Medigold for just over a year and a half in this role and has really made an impact on his colleagues to get this nomination.
They nominated him for the following reasons;
“Carl is simply great with customers. He not only commits to his usual duties and carries them out as expected, but goes above and beyond in answering queries, making calls, communicating to clients and using his initiative to find short notice appointments, making the most of our available clinical time.”
Thank you, Carl. All of your hard work has ensured that our clients are happy, which definitely deserves some recognition!
We’d like to say a huge congratulations to all the Code Champions from March and April and will be back soon to introduce May and June’s Champions soon!
