Medigold Health were delighted to attend the First Bus Excellence Awards, in both Reading and Glasgow last week.

Our Chief Medical Officer, Dr Mark Hall, was honored to present the award for the Colleague of the Year-Engineering category at the first event held in the beautiful 18th century, Reading Town Hall.

The winner of the sponsored category was Ben Morris, Engineering Manager.

Ben won because “his commitment to our trainees is exemplary. He works tirelessly to support them and knows that by rewarding enthusiasm and employing the right approach, he can help them to develop the confidence and motivation to succeed. ” – First Bus

We would like to Congratulate Ben, and all of the First Bus Wales, Ireland, and South finalists.

The next event was held in Glasgow, on the banks of the River Clyde at the Crowne Plaza, where this time around our Sales Director, Tom Butcher, presented the award for Colleague of the Year – Engineering, Scotland and the North.

The winner of the award in Glasgow, was Darren Aitken, Engineering Manager.

Congratulations on your achievement, and again we would like to congratulate all of the Glasgow, and the North finalists.

“It was moving to see front line staff excellence and bravery recognised to such an extent. Management, staff, and trade unions were united in their passion for the organisation and the communities they serve”. – Tom Butcher
