Rob Small – National Disability Training and Consultancy Manager
With 17 years in the health and wellbeing sector, I’ve developed and delivered solutions across public and private sectors. As department head, I oversee strategy, growth, client management, quality, and product development. My team, rich in diverse experiences, brings our training and solutions to life for our clients. Since joining Medigold in 2023, I’ve felt warmly welcomed and am excited about our future growth and achievements in this vital service area.
Fun fact: I rekindled my passion for Lego during the pandemic and my home office is full of Lego models!
Barrie Norman Jnr – Operational Lead and Mental Health First-Aider
After a distinguished military career, I’ve transitioned to leading workplace training and consultancy. As the Operational Lead, I ensure smooth service operation and high-quality training delivery, drawing on my military experience. My role in training at Medigold Health evokes the camaraderie I cherished in the military, enhanced by the team’s openness and support.
Fun fact: I’m an avid Warhammer Age of Sigmar player, and was recently ranked in the top 10 worldwide!
Kath Wood – Disability Training and Consultancy Specialist – Product and Consultancy Lead
With over 15 years in disability and employment, I’ve spent half of that as a Disability Training and Consultancy Specialist, developing and delivering resources on disability, mental health, and neurodiversity. I lead on product quality and consultancy for the Disability Confident scheme.
Fun fact: My proudest moment, presenting a neurodiversity toolkit at a secure government location, coincided with an embarrassing one when I got trapped in a turnstile, likely landing me on their security bloopers reel!
Kim Najran – Disability Training and Consultancy Specialist
Working in the Disability Training and Consultancy Team for over two years, I deliver training courses like Mental Health First Aid as a qualified instructor. I am a keen mental health advocate, and I’m training as a psychotherapist alongside mentoring and volunteering roles.

Alice Gibson – National Disability Training and Consultancy Specialist
As a Disability Training and Consultancy Specialist since February 2023, I deliver various health, disability, and wellbeing trainings and help employers achieve Disability Confident status. I’m a TAP-accredited trainer and a Mental Health First Aid Wales instructor, enjoying my role and working from home with my dog, Martha.
Fun fact: I was in a touring theatre company for eight years, playing roles like Chief Weasel in ‘The Wind in the Willows‘, and I might still have my costume tail!
Stefan Briceag – Training Coordinator
Joining Medigold’s Disability Training and Consultancy Team as a Training Coordinator two years ago, my role focuses on ensuring smooth training delivery and a seamless client journey. I leverage my presentation, analytical skills, and our training management system to support the team effectively.
