Welcome to the Fourth Issue of the Learning Loop!
We are pleased to welcome you to the latest edition of the Learning Loop, your exclusive bimonthly Training & Consultancy bulletin. Here, Medigold Health’s Training and Consultancy Team share insightful blogs, valuable resources, and essential information to support your organisation and its employees.
Spotlight on Disability and Menopause
In this edition, we’re shining a light on two important topics – disability and menopause.
July is Disability Pride Month, a time to celebrate the incredible contributions of disabled individuals. With 8.4 million working-age people living with disabilities, representing 20% of the working-age population, and 2% becoming disabled each year, it’s clear that disability touches us all. More than one in five people will experience disability at some point in their lives, underscoring the need for businesses to foster an inclusive environment.
As the 26th of August marks Women’s Equality Day, we’re also focusing on a topic that often flies under the radar in the workplace – menopause. Many people are unfamiliar with menopause until they or someone close to them experiences it, which can be both distressing and daunting. We will delve into the challenges of menopause in the workplace, its impact on wellbeing, and provide free resources to support your team.
We hope you find this edition of the Learning Loop both informative and inspiring. Let’s continue to work together to create inclusive, supportive workplaces for all!
